iphone 5s doesn't sync with itunes

got a new iphone 5s and my itunes doesn't sync with it. can't draw songs over to phone. i bought some songs from itunes and don't show up in mu library.. lm getting tired of apple it was never this hard to sync songs.. have same id on both phone and mac.. don't know what to do plz help anybody.. starting to get disappointed on apple
