Up to 700mb worth. My recollection is that a standard audio CD is limited to 74 minutes. A data disc will hold up to 700mb leaving the files in their current formats.

Not sure what happens to unchecked tracks. Why not test it? Or just make sure the playlist includes what you want to burn and nothing else.

Seems like EVERYONE missed the actual answer to the question: the maximum number of tracks to record in a CD is 99, no matter if they are very short and less than 74 mins total.

I'm recording a CD with 100 short Q&As, that sum up to 37 mins, and it just let 99 tracks in.

I shortened the content, adding up to 33 mins, and still, just 99 songs.

Just to confirm: http://acoustica.com/kb/how-many-songs-can-i-put-on-an-audio-cd_901.html

74 minutes is the original Red Book spec (corresponding to 650MB CD-Rs). Commercial CDs have been exceeding that for a long time (in a few exceptional cases slightly over 80min). 700MB CD-Rs can be over-burned beyond 80 min, though the results may not always be playable. Some older CD players may struggle with 700MB discs due a combination of tracking the tighter spiral than Red Book, and the reduced resolution of dye-based encoding on CD-Rs vs. physical "pits and lands" on pressed discs.
