I just got a mac, in love its my new baby
how ever i just plugged in a 3tb seagate drive and it is not recognised ? doesn't show up in disc util, doesn't mount at all in finder ?
any help would be awesome 🙂
How is the disk connected? USB?
What does disk utility show about the disk?
Posting a screenshot wold be nice.
Was this disk formatted on a PC by any chance?
i changed usb3 cables and it seems to work, the one supplied seems to be broken :S
Cables included in the box with another device are often 'lowest bidder' cables.
