Hi, if i want to buy something on an app for £14.99, and i have £10 itunes credit in my account, if i pay by card will it use the £10 on my account and take £4.99 off my card or will it use it all from the card?

It will use up your account's balance first - so your £10 will be used up, and the remaining £4.99 will be charged to you credit card.
(If you are gifting content then all of it will be taken from your credit card, a balance can't be used for gifting.)
