Deleting individual imessage MacBook

Seems most of the answers are for ipad and iphone users. This is for Macbook issue. I highlite the bubble (using trackpad), then right click. There is nothing with right click that would allow me to delete individual message. I do get a pop up but there is no delete option. Going nuts
