I can't access purchased multi pass episodes on Mac or iPad. Un-downloaded episodes are grey or give message that I cannot re-download. What's up?

MacBook Pro OS 10.9.4 and iPad Retina iOS 8.

I can't access purchased multi pass episodes on Mac or iPad. Un-downloaded episodes are grey or give message that I cannot re-download when they have never been downloaded. My previous multi pass of same show (now expired) worked fine but the new multi pass has not worked even though I get emails saying I have a new episode to download. What's up?
