Unfortunately, our crystal ball is broken, so we cannot see your network devices, and we must ask for a bit more information.

Is this a new Time Capsule.....that has not yet been set up.....that you want to connect to the wired network?

What operating system is installed on the Mac or PC that will be used to set up the Time Capsule?....(or maybe you will be using an iPhone or iPad for the setup?)

Sorry Bob,

My TC is probably 3-4 years old. My airport express died and I replaced with an ASUS but wanted to use Cat5 where possible for speed since the building is prewired.

I was able to read the manual on line and set the TC up as a bridge which accomplished what I was trying to do. Connect to an existing wired network for my wife's MacBook back up and provide additional wireless coverage in a large building.

thanks

Mark
