One day I was using the headphones. The next day, the sound comes out of speakers even though the headset is plugged in. No sounds thru headsets.Do I need to take this in or is it some other problem....?

Get a flashlight and check the headphone jack and clean any lint/dirt/debris/obstruction you find.
my headset plug in does not work suddenly.
