Bootcamp won't install windows after partition

Question

I am attempting to install with windows 10 preview via bootcamp. I&#x27;ve had it running in Parallels just fine but want to run it using bootcamp and then run the bootcamp partition through Parallels.I went through the bootcamp assistant, made the bootable usb drive with the drivers and then went to partition the drive. Once the partition finishes, the Mac reboots with no warning. It reboots right back to the login screen for mac. If I go to the disk utility I see the BOOTCAMP partition there.Tried rebooting holding the option key and the only option is the Mac, no Bootcamp partition. I&#x27;ve tried deleting and re-creating the partition and it still isn&#x27;t available as a boot option.How do I fix this?

Did BCA allow you to include the W10 ISO on your USB?

Your Windows is not installed yet, so an Option key will only show OS X and Recovery HD. The existence of a BC partition does not mean Windows is installed.Is your USB a USB2 device or a USB3 device?

Can you also post the following commands&#x27; outputs?sudo fdisk /dev/disk0sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0Sudo command require your password which will not be echoed back to you. You may also see a warning about improper use and potential data loss.

You have two options. 1. Directly boot from the W10 media and point to BOOTCAMP disk, or, 2. Use GPT Fdisk to create a new Hybrid MBR (http://sourceforge.net/projects/gptfdisk/) and retry.
