iMac stolen with Configurator

Hi, I'm a teacher that manages all the Apple Technology at my school and recently had my iMac stolen. It had Configurator on it, which I used to lock the iPads with specific apps as well as to manage and supervise. When I connect those iPads to another iMac with Configurator on it, it will not let me gain access to it. I'd appreciate any suggestions? Thanks!

You needed to have backup up your iMac. You need to be working from your backup.

This could be a real pain. The ipads are locked to the configurating iPad.

see this article about how to transfer backup to new computer.

If the ipads do not have an activation lock, you can wipe and restore or reconfigure.

For how to remove activation lock, see Texas Mac Man post in
