iMac Clicking and Cursor Problem

Okay so yesterday when I got on my computer I was browsing and all of a sudden my mouse was highlighting everything even though I wasn't clicking. And when I did click nothing happened. This goes on and off. I tried switching mice and the same thing happneed please help.
