Hi hope someone can help, my mail was working fine until today and now its stating cannot get mail server failed, I have tried sign out sign in not worked, reset my Apple Id and password then re signed in = still no joy, I have reset network settings and still nothing , I need help please

There was was a recent outage, have you tried again.
I am having the same problem. it happened overnight. I've tried everything and all devices.
I have signed out and back in, reset network settings, changed passwords on the server info I can send mail but cannot receive any ideas?
yes have tried everything that has been suggested on I cloud set up I cannot access on pc either but can send emails, I think my Apple Id might have been hacked that is why I changed the passwords any ideas?
