Intermittent wifi connection w Iphone 6 w 8.2

Iphone 6 wifi connection keeps jumping between Netgear home network and Verizon LTE. Ipad Air, running 8.2 does not display the same problem in the same location. Have turned off Wifi Networking under Privacy, location services, system services. Have reset Network Settings under General Settings. Neither fixed the problem.

Any further suggestions for a fix?

I should add that I have optimal signal strength and that both the new Imac on my desk and the Ipad Air, also on the desk, do not have the same problem as the Iphone6.
