How to connect to an old SMB server in my network

I've got an old external HD with LAN connection working as a Linux SMB server in my network.

I can see the server in finder but not connect to it. The hardest is OK, I can use it when I directly connect with USB. I want to use it as backup for my NAS

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
