iTunes crashes when iOS Device attached

When Opening iTunes and attaching my iPhone 6, or iPad 4 with USB cord iTunes crashes immediatly.

The same happens when iTunes tries to sync to my iPhone over WLAN.

As far as I Know I did not install any Apps or changed something on my MAC.

Does anybody have a solution for this behaviour?

Anybody with the same problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks in advance

Mario

Hello rutahaba,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that iTunes on your computer is becoming unresponsive when you connect your iPhone. In this situation, I would recommend reading over and working through the suggested troubleshooting steps in the attached article to help resolve this issue.

HEllo Joe,

Thank you for your response.

I already worked through the suggestions, but without any further luck.

However, yesterday evening I had success by doing the following:

Start MAC in Safe Mode and was able to connect my iPhone, as well as my iPad.

Since then no more problems occured, even though I restarted my MAC in "normal mode".

Thanks again

Mario
