Mavericks download
My iMac currently has version 10.9.5, but I never have installed Mavericks OS X. (March, 2015) Can I still download Mavericks without problems?
Mavericks is 10.9.5.

Thanks for your reply. The software updates notify me of free downloads and updates, but I never downloaded Mavericks. That's why I am asking. It is available for download from The App Store. How could I upgrade to a 10.9.5 without a download of the actual Mavericks operating system?
The OS available from the Mac App Store is Yosemite, not Mavericks; it's a full version upgrade, and therefore won't appear in the Updates tab. Getting it requires downloading it, but you don't need to redownload Mavericks to do this.
