open/import library to new Photos app

How can I import photos from y apeture library to the new Photos app. When I try to import the library is grayed out

Mac mini (Mid 2010), iOS 7.0.4

Either you open your Aperture library in Photos and create a Photos library from it, or you export selected images from Aperture and import them from a folder to Photos. You cannot import a photo library, only open it in Photos.


Or use the Media Browser. In the Import panel in Photos scroll down to the Media section of the sidebar and click the camera icon to launch the Photo Browser. It will show you the current photo libraries for iPhoto and Aperture or Photo Booth:
