Is anyone else experiencing issues with their touch screen or working since the update to iOS 8.2? I have to press the power button several times and sometimes hard boot the phone in order to be able to type, select a app to open, or do anything.

If resetting the phone does not help, setting it up as new device would be the next step:

None of that worked. The reset may or may not work. I've backed it up to iTunes and did setup as a new phone and went through that process and then restored my content from the backup on iTunes... Still having the same issue! 😟
To make sure that this is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup data afterwards. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the Touch Screen . If it still does not work, this is a hardware issue and the phone has to be serviced by Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider:

I have reset mine and set it up as a new device. None of it worked so back to Apple it goes, hope you have better luck!
I did mine as a new device as well and it seems to have made it a much better. I am not having the issues any more so I cancelled my genius bar appointment. We will see how it goes!
