so basicallly i can plugin my headphone and ive tried with mu;ltiple but its just not wokring. some info

- Doesn't Appear in Sound Settings
- I think i fooled around in audio midi once and thats when it started not working (soon after(i think))
- Reset NVRAM
- Going to cost me $30 extra dollars for a heaphone to usb because im hooking up my headphones up to my tv and my imac

Ensure you are plugging in the connector to the correct input on your iMac.
I believe if niki201 is trying to get headphones to work, they should be plugged in to the correct OUTput on the iMac.
It’s not just headphones that stopped working. My external speakers stopped working after updating to 10.10.3. Previously, in the Sound section of System Preferences, the Output tab would let you choose between the Internal Speakers and the Headphone jack for sound output. The Headphone option is gone. The only way to get sound now is through the internal speakers. Hope this is fixed soon!!
