Q: Why does Apple need to hide this useful option this deep?

I've been using three-finger drag for quite a while and just recently, my friend bought a new MBP with force touch trackpad and I helped him set up. Didn't find the three finger drag option where it used to be until I searched for the solution.

What is the need for Apple to hide this very useful option?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

I suspect Samsung has some employees working for Apple.. It's the only thing i can think of for why Apple has been dinging their interfaces, and functionalities.
