I only get emails on my iphone if mail is open on my mac

So I am not getting emails when mac goes to sleep. Very frustrating.

Anyone else had this problem? Got a fix?

I assume you've recreated the account on your iPhone using the exact details from your iMac so make sure sending/receiving is set to push or fetch & if fetch that it is set to fetch every so often, it shouldn't be set to manual if you wish to receive automatically.

Thanks for your reply. Problem now solved.

It was settings on my iPhone. Server port was incorrect (in account advanced settings) and SSL was on for SMTP server (now off).

Works like a dream now!
