Q: iBook item will not download on my iPhone 6+, but works fine on iPad

I purchased a book in iBooks yesterday, and started the download. Lost WiFi connection for an hour, and subsequent retries on iPhone 6+ noot working. The cloud with arrow appears, followed by the round icon, but no download happens. Restared iBooks. Restarted phone. Nothing.

Book downloaded fine in iPad & MacBook.

Not possible to delete he item either, the round delete-icon will not accept a tick.

Any clues on what to do?
