Is it safe to play computer games on a Macbook Pro?

Hi there,

I was playing Diablo 3 on my new Macbook Pro 13 in Retina with Turboboost and I noticed that after playing for approx. 5 minutes the computer begins to heat up, the fans click on and the computer starts making a lot of noise. I know these are all signs of the computer working to process the data rich application, I just want to verify that this won't do any long term damage to my device? I use my Macbook primarily for school and work, and I'm hoping to keep it for quite a long time like I did with my previous Macbook, so just trying to take the best care of it. Thanks in advance!
