Q: I accidentally erased my keychain passwords, how can I replace it?  I thought I was deleting one account but it deleted everything.  I now keep getting pop-ups asking me for a keychain password...which I don't remember ever creating.

Thank you for the response!  I tried my user password and it did not work so I am guessing it was an old password.  I will try the backup file...I need to figure that out as well.

iCloud was the backup...however, I never fully understood how it worked

Thank you for the tip.  I first tried resetting the default setting but I received a messaged saying the login keychain could not be found.  I then tried the Keychain fist Aid -options for verify and repair- it seems to have fixed the problem.   Hopefully this solves the issue.
