'needs-no-dep-files'

In finder I have a file with 3 items called "s-needs-no-depfiles". I haven't created this file. It's a Macbook Pro version c 2009. OS Mavericks. I have performance issues with the machine, and question marks over security, would like to understand the relevance of the file to any of this.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

The files are created by a tool used by Google developers. They're not causing your problem, whatever it is. It's best to describe the problem in as much pertinent detail as possible, rather than what you think is causing it.

Thanks Linc. Just wanted to rule it out, as I didn't recognise the file.
