how do i remove epson projector sound options from system prefs

This question was released in 2015. I know, It's already 2017, but there might be some people who still have this problem. For my case, i just searched on "spotlight search", "usb display uninstaller". Click continue then the computer will restart. After that, the epson projector sound option is already gone.

You want to remove a third-party preference pane, so you only have to right-click it and you will see the option to remove that.

1.Download an APP called "EasyFind" (From Mac App Stroe)

2.Serching .kext

3.A file named EMP UD Aduio

4.Delete it, then Reboot

I have this problem for almost half year, until find this solution.

I had this same issue. I was able to locate & delete this file and it solved the issue for me.

/Library/Extensions/EPSONProjectorAudio.kext
