When I tag songs in my car to transfer to iTunes, most of the songs do not come across on my iPod. Is it my iPod, my car radio, or what? If it is the iPod, I have considered getting a new one, but if I am going to have the same issue, I want to get help from my car dealer or wherever I can. Please help!

Is there anything different about the songs that do tag and transfer and those that do not? Like where they came from. For example are only iTunes purchases tagged>transfered
The songs that I tag are playing on the radio. I tag them so I can purchase them from iTunes. I am not sure if there is a difference between the ones that transfer and the ones that don't. I tag them because I am driving and cannot write them down and do not remember which songs I tag. I only know that I have tagged as many as 20 songs, and only maybe 3 come across. The owner's manual for my car stereo says I should be able to tag as many as 50 at a time.
I have now been keeping track of most of my tags. I will see if there is any pattern to the ones that don't come across.
I kept track of 8 songs that I tagged. Downloaded the tags to my iPod and connected to iTunes. Lo and behold, 40 tagged songs showed up! Apparently, they were stored somewhere. I wish I could figure out where and why.
