Email froze while entering photos to email

Email froze while entering photos to email. Restart, restart, nothing would help.

iPad 2, iOS 8.2

Are you able to open the email app once the iPad has restarted? Did you try closing the app by double tapping the home button & swiping the window up?

If you can access your email account from a computer's browser, try deleting the offending email from there & then try to open the mail app again.

You said you 'restarted'. Try a soft reset holding down the home & sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, then let go & let the iPad boot up normally.

If none of the above work, try deleting the email account from the iPad then re-add it.

EMail page comes up when you touch the icon. It is the email page blank with the four blue icons upper right. They do not respond. Tried double tapping home button and swiping up no response. Deleted email from iPhone did soft reset nothing. Did total reset of ipad nothing. Would like to delete account but can not figure out how to. My email icon is on the bottom of the screen. When I double tap the home button all icons shake with x in top left corner. Email shakes but has no x just # of emails upper right of icon. How do you delete email icon?

You cannot delete the Email app as it is part of the iOS. You can delete the email account(s) associated through settings. Open Settings->Mail,Contacts,Calenders. Under Acounts tap on the email account you want to delete & tap Delete Account.

Once deleted, try opening the Mail app again.

Thank you for your patients. In settings mail,calendar... Under accounts all that is listed is iCloud and add accounts. When I open iCloud i see our email account but no way to delete it.

PRoblem resolved. Used I phone to access email. Erased original email. Then backed up iPad in I tunes. Reset and erased all data returning to factory settings. Reloaded backed up data. Problem solved.
