Apple store gift card

My dad bought an apple store gift card as a gift but he meant to buy an iTunes gift card, is there anyway I can transfer that money to my apple id account or exchange it to an iTunes gift card? 😕

I have the pin and serial code.

You may or may not be able to use it to buy an iTunes gift card; otherwise, not without selling the card. Note that if you redeem it to check and it fails, you'll need to contact Apple to get the money put back onto the card.
