How to sync deleted emails

ARe we able to sync deleted emails from ipad & iphone- it's annoying having to delete twice

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.2, Ipad 2

It depends on the type of email account you are accessing. IF this is an IMAP account, they would be synced. However, if this is a POP mail account, mail is downloaded to the separate mail clients and would have to be deleted on the individual clients. Sounds like you have a POP account.

If you have an IMAP account, then when you delete mail from one device, it is deleted from the server and will sync with all devices. However, as I said earlier with POP mail, the mail is downloaded to the individual client, and will have to be deleted from all clients individually. Let me know if you have any other questions.
