Forcing a iPhone 5s to run on a EDGE/2G network

Hello,

My carrier updated there carrier settings and deleted the Enable 3G (Added the Enable 4G), deleting the possibility of running EDGE or 2G network on my iPhone, which is perfect for iMessage and small data consumption apps plus a longer battery life.

Is there any way (with no Jailbreak of course) to force my iPhone (Running iOS 8.2) to run on 2G?
