Lost password on IPad one and I don't want to reset

Hi everyone,

I lost my old IPad password 4 digit. I don't want to reset/restore, as I have tons of photos on it. Is there a way to reset the password, can Apple do it?

You don't have a choice.

You have been syncing and backing up regularly, haven't you? If not, then this is a good lesson for you.

The computer I used to synch on is long gone. That's the thing with theses IPads they're easy to store...

Well the lesson is mine. I just have 9999 combination to try out every 30min,
