Mar 29, 2015 6:52 PM in response to LaPastenagueby spamhater160,I had already looked at that article and it was of no assistance to me for some reason. It wouldn't recognize the basestation when I plugged it into my PowerMac G4 running Tiger. I tried to also use the admin utility, but that required the password.
PS It is round but not 802.11G, rather it is 802.11b.

AirPort Admin Utility for Graphite and Snow 4.2.5
If the reset button is not working then it is faulty.
Factory default reset
- Disconnect the base station from its power source.
- Press and hold the reset button with a pen, pencil, or straightened paperclip, then plug the base station back in while continuing to hold the button for approximately 5 seconds until you see the three status lights glow.
- Release the button. The base station will factory default reset.
When you reset the password will need to be typed in.. it is public .. did you try that.
