My outgoing email has quit working on my IPAD. Any ideas?
I can still send emails but I can't receive them. I tried rebooting my IPAD but that didn't work. This has just suddenly occurred. Everything else is working.

Try going into the settings, mail, contacts and calendars, delete and then re-add your account info.

Which is it. You say outgoing in the Subject area, and in the text say receive. The mail is handled on two different servers, incoming, and SMTP which is outgoing. Who is your mail provider. There are numerous reports of problems with Yahoo lately.
Thanks for catching that. I meant I am not receiving any emails, but I can still send. I use Yahoo. I am not very computer savvy, but I'll take any suggestions.
More than likely not much you are going to be able to do. You can follow Skydiver 119's suggestion, but it may not work. You may have to opt for the Yahoo mail app, or just wait it out. I've been reading of some people getting mail on one device, sending on another, and on some not being able to do either. Then deleting the account and when adding it back, it will populate the folders, but they are all empty. You might just want to opt for the web access for now until they get their act together. Yahoo is famous for this type of action.
How do I delete without losing all of my contacts and calendar info?
If you are syncing contacts and calendar with your Yahoo account, if you delete the account from the phone, it will remove that information as well. It would sync back when you add the account back, so long as you are able to get into the account. In your case, I would wait, since it has more than just an affect on mail.
