How do I hide Single data points in a series

I'm trying to emulate a waterfall or bridge chart I've built very easily in Excel.

I've got my data table setup the same as I would in Excel - but where I'm encountering trouble is selecting and hiding the single data points in a series - so the values look like they're floating.

Is this possible - and if so, how do I select only a single data point in a series to hide it?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), Numbers 3.5.2

Thanks for the quick reply.

In Excel - I'd hide the first green data point, then blue ones from 1655 - 852, and hide the last green one.

In Numbers - I can't select the individual data points to colour them differently - or make changes to the data point itself.
