Recovery HD is no longer a separate entity

A few days ago, I wiped my hard drive and reinstalled OS X (Yosemite via USB install "disc") as I was experiencing various software-related issues and wanted a nice, clean slate. I did reimport most of my information through Time Machine (the Migrating program, not restoring).

Today I had the infamous three-beep RAM issue, and as I finally started my computer back up, planning to run a quick Disc Utility scan, I noticed that my Recovery HD, which was always selectable when pressing Option on start up, has disappeared. I can still access it by pressing Cmd-R, but is there a way to restore it to that boot-up screen?

Thanks as always

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9), null
