how to give a gift certificate for Canada

Question

I would like to send a iTunes Gift Certificate to someone in Canada. But it will not permit me. for it states that he can not use it in Canada.

How can I send a Gift Certificate please. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3)

You need to either be in Canada or use a non-iTunes method, such as an international cheque, to transfer the money.
