www.apple.com. Click any of the nav tabs for the different products.
Well, the first obvious difference is that the iPhone is a cellular phone, as well as a smart device. The iPod is not a phone, nor is an iPad. The iPad is slightly larger than the other two, depending on which one you are using, Mini or other. If you do not need a cellular phone, then one of the others is a choice, again, screen size is the bigger difference between those two.
Thank You ! I have 1 more ? Can the IPhone do as much as the Pad or Pod?
Can the IPhone do as much as the Pod?
R u still there?
"As much" in what sense? What are you looking to do? Again, go to the http://store.apple.com/us site, click on the device you are interested in to see the differences and what each has to offer.

Did you read my post? You need to define what you mean by "as much"....
Take some time to do a little research by looking at the information on the links provided. This is a user to user technical support forum. If you want to find out the differences go to an Apple Store and talk to the Apple employees about the devices.

Isn't the IPhone kind of like a mini computer as well?
No idea what you mean or what you are asking. Every iOS device is "like" a mini-computer.

While the iPod and the iPad can perform most of the same functions as the iPhone, you cannot use SMS, a carrier feature that would require a cellular phone, and you cannot make regular phone calls with the iPod or iPad, but you can use services such as Skype. The other posters have provided you with some other information to look at. You need to determine what it is you actually want to do with the device and make your decision that way. Of course, the iPhone is more expensive than the iPod, but close to the iPad. The iPhone would require cellular access from a carrier, and that may be a contract for a set period of time, or it could be a pay as you go, depending on the carrier.
