Hi, I'm not sure if i accidentally deleted some unwanted language files in os X yosemite, wondering 1) if its a big deal and if so 2) how do i check if i deleted them or not and 3) will a system update in the future automatically recover those language files? thank you very much!

If you have deleted language files you have modified system folders, so you may have issues. It is up to you (your Mac may be working properly), but I would recommend you to reinstall OS X through OS X Recovery to get back the system files. Anyway, a future OS X maintenance update should introduce those files again.
Hi thank you for the reply, so far its been working completely fine, so is it safe to say that if i wait till the next system update those files will be back and i will be fine?
Yes. Just in case, make a backup of your most important files.
