6plus touchID problems.

To make sure that this is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup data afterwards. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the Touch ID. If it still does not work, this is a hardware issue and the phone has to be serviced by Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider:

Ever since the 8.2 upgrade the fingerprint sensor has not worked consistently. Before the upgrade - it was great. Now I have to redo my prints every week or so - if I don't it just stops working. I hope Apple has a fix - release coming soon.
