Very confused by colour board

OK, I get the saturation and exposure bits but the Colour page is doing my head in. I am used to using Resolve and the three wheel filter in FCP 7/Premier. My generaly use of this is to add/remove a bit of warmth but have not managed to work this out in FCPX. Can someone point me at a decent description/tutorial.
