Print some pages in a document single-sided and other two-sided

I’m writing a project for my engineering course and need to have some pages that are blank on the back, like the cover page, acknowledgements and some others, but then most of the document will be printed double-sided.

What’s the easiest way to do this, and so that I can keep my page numbers going, whilst ignoring the blank pages?

Thanks.

Hi MaverickFlyboy,

This screen shot is 25% Zoom with Menu > View > Show Invisibles, just for clarity.

The blue lines are Section Breaks (Menu > Insert > Section Break).

To get a blank page, insert two Section Breaks.

To change the Header (or Footer) in each Section, click in a Section and Document Panel > Section > Untick Match previous section.

Delete Headers (or Footers) where you don't want them in a Section.

Where you do want page numbers to start in a Section,

Start at 1 or whatever.

Ian.
