Downloading Purchases From My iPhone To My Laptop

A few days ago I downloaded some songs from iTunes on my iPhone. Today I have connected my iPhone to my laptop and synced it, the songs are no where to be seen. The songs appear on my iPhone and in my purchased list in my iTunes store on my iPhone, I've tried everything and can't get them from my phone to my laptop. Can someone please help me 😟
