My iPhone 5 has stopped loading new mail. Help please!

It was fine until Saturday, then just stopped loadimg new mail. I have tried deleting my mail accounts and reloading them, but now it's not showing any of my mail. Just says it was 'Updated Saturday' it's driving me crazy as I need easy access to my emails and I can't underst why it's stopped working as I have changed any of my settings. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
