LOST MY IPHONE
lost my iphone 6 plus... i reported my phone lost and i check my IMEI TO SEE IF IT SHOW IT LOST OR STOLEN, BUT IT SHOW IS THE IS GOOD AND READY TO ACTIVATE. WHY IS THAT?
Sounds like the iPod was placed in Recovery mode (erased) and then restored via iTunes.
The Titivation Lock is preventing using/activating the device.
Find My iPhone Activation Lock
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the device and report to police and carrier (done) if iPhone or cellular iPad
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the erase (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 or later on the device. With iOS 7 or later, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.
- Apple will do nothing without a court order
