If it shipped with Mac OS X 10.6.8 or earlier, you need its original thumbdrive. If you don't have that, click here and order a replacement.

If it shipped with Mac OS X 10.7 or newer, restart the computer with the Option, Command, and R keys held down.

hello, thanks for getting back to me but its still no good, I've tried that and its still only coming up my hard drive?? any more suggestions ? :\

On the bottom of your MBA is the serial number. Enter it here and post back the year/model information:
