when I connect my iphone 6 to the blue tooth in my 2009 Mercedes CL550 it says that it is successful but it does not actually work, please help.

Have you attempted any troubleshooting ?
If not, remove all pairings from MB system and from the iPhone and then re-pair
Check the MB Command system for updates, 2009 is down level to an 2014 iPhone 6 technology and this may also be a factor

and if not try restoring the iPhone as new and attempting pairing before re loading your backup ,that would eliminate any potential issues with any Apps on the iPhone or a corrupted iOS
