About the time that we began observing "Daylight Savings Time", my MacBook Pro
has had problems remembering which time zone we are located in. It has been set to
"Set time zone automatically using current location".

It uses Wi-Fi to determine your location. Is the Wi-Fi on?
Yes, Wi-Fi is on.
Our internet connection is via satellite, Hughesnet, and the signal leaves much to be desired. Worse than dial-up most of time.
When the clock is trying to set itself, is does return the message that it is "Unable to determine current location at this time."
Do you know when the clock resets itself? Is this a function it attempts all the time, each time it is booted-up, or…?
