When I export a project to the desktop (pro res 422) and view the .mov, everything is fine. But when I try to import it back into fcpx the audio does not come with it. This happens with .mov, mp4, anything. The only audio it will import is the audio that is on the AVCHD file on the original camera card. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help.
Make a new test library. Import the Pro Res clip from your Desktop. Does it have audio when played from the Browser? How about if edited to the project timeline?

Wow, that worked. It played in the browser and in the timeline when it was in a new library. That's strange; what's going on there? What is it about the new library?

Russ - I need help again. The same thing is happening. No audio after import. I make a new library and go to 'import'. The .mov file shows up in the import window, where the audio plays fine. But when it's imported into the event window there's no audio at all. This is very frustrating.
