My iPod won't turn on at all. Please help!

My iPod touch 5th generation just stopped working out of the blue. It won't turn on and has nothing but a black screen. It won't charge or connect to iTunes either. I can't restart it because my home button does not work either. How do I turn it back on? Please help fast!
